Since we offer so many products and options, we're oftentimes the "one stop shop" for insurance needs including: Home, Renters, Condo, Auto, Life, Business (work comp, comm. auto, general liability, buildings, income loss, associations,+ more), Boat, Camper, RV, Umbrella, Motorcycles, and so much more.
We work with many different carriers, not just one. Because we work with top carriers like Progressive, AAA, Travelers, Liberty Mutual, Safeco, Encompass, and more, we can find better rates and better coverage most of the time. Because of that, our clients are extremely happy and we have a much higher closing ratio.
You do not need to have industry experience. You must be friendly, outgoing, motivated, and open to learning the ropes of a new industry. We act as advisers with our clients, helping them secure the best policy for their needs.
We provide:
-Build your own schedule, full time or part time. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
-Monthly base salary + extremely generous sales fees & renewal bonus structure
-A full scholarship for property & casualty insurance licensing (online or in-class)
-In office training
-Continuing education 50% reimbursement
-Full quoting software suites, digital signature software, email, agency management system, computer + laptop, business cards, desk, phone, website, high speed fiber internet.
-Ability to work from home once you’re up and running
-A relaxed and engaging office environment
-Membership with the local chamber of commerce and a networking organization of your choice
Duties include:
-Prospecting for new sources of business by developing community relationships with centers of influence like mortgage brokers, real estate agents, lawyers, bankers, and more.
-Marketing to the local community + networking with other like-minded professionals.
-Meeting and talking with prospective clients about home, auto, business, and life insurance.
-Building a plan of action on what you can do to be the best fit for their needs
-Quoting their insurance through a variety of carriers through our software tools
-Presenting quotes and options to your prospective clients
-Once clients have accepted your proposal, assisting with applying payments, gathering e-signatures, preparing cancellation forms for their old carriers, and assisting with follow-up questions.
-Your relationship with your clients is on-going, which you'll earn residual fees for, and this includes helping make policy changes, revolving billing issues, giving general advice, and assisting with claims filing and follow-up.
-You'll also meet with your clients typically every 1-3 years to review their insurance portfolios for any changes or opportunities.
The total compensation package starts at about $44k-$62k, and successful agents typically earn between $85k-$110k by their 5th year.
